I am an evolutionary biologist that first trained to be a statistician.
I am currently a postdoc at University of Idaho in Luke Harmon’s lab.
My research focuses on developing new models and tools for plant evolution. Specifically, I am trying to understand how chromosome numbers and genome sizes have changed throughout the evolutionary history of flowering plants.
I enjoy developing mathematical models for multiple questions in Biology and find answers through consistent statistical inference.
